About

I am an amateur photographer currently living in Milford in Surrey. I was born in England but spent my formative years growing up in South Africa. Whilst in South Africa I spent several years at Rhodes University in Grahamstown and graduated with an M.Sc. degree in Sports Science in 1989. I returned to England in 1990 and am currently working as an Exercise Physiologist for a private medical practice in London.

I have been a keen photographer from a very early age but my real passion has developed since I upgraded my film camera for a digital camera in 2010. I enjoy all forms of photography but I have a particular interest in wildlife photography. I would love to travel the world with my camera - and have certainly managed to fit in the occasional overseas trip. However, being in full-time employment means that most of my recent travels have been right here in the British Isles. So I now use my camera as motivation to see and to photograph as much of my own country that I can - and in particular those parts of the country that I might not otherwise have visited. Some of my recent photographic adventures have taken me to places such as the New Forest, the Lake District, the Outer Hebrides, Bempton Cliffs and Skomer Island.

I sincerely hope that you enjoy viewing my photographs as much as I have enjoyed taking them. I am still learning my trade and am always striving to improve my skills as a photographer. And to this end I would very much appreciate any feedback that you are able to offer - whether this be of a critical or complimentary nature.

My thanks again for visiting my website.
